About this board game

Forgeflame is a 60-minute board game for 2–4 players, in which rival teams of three adventurers race through lost mines to gather ores and craft artifacts.

A landslide has uncovered underground tunnels filled with deposits of Gold, Darkiron, and Draconite. Deep within the mines lies the legendary Eternal Forge, a dwarven masterpiece said to be capable of crafting extraordinary artifacts. Wealth-hungry plunderers and glory-seeking explorers must contend with kobolds that have made the tunnels their home.

At the start of the game, each player shuffles the basic cards belonging to their adventurers. On a turn, play one card and use that character’s unique ability. After four cards have been played by each player, add an advanced card from the adventurers to create a more powerful deck, then draw a new hand.

As the game progresses, changing events and relentless kobold interference make every expedition a frantic race. Success depends on smart planning, teamwork, and clever tactics as you seek to reach the Eternal Forge before your rivals.

Forgeflame ends when a player forges their fourth artifact. Players then tally their points to determine who has claimed the greatest glory from the lost mines.
