About this board game

Crop Circles is a roll-and-write game for 1–12 players that plays in about 25 minutes. Each player rolls two dice and places both numbers into chosen fields on their crop circles.

Strange circles are appearing in corn crops, raising an intriguing question: are they evidence of extraterrestrial life, or a clever reinvention of the agricultural business to attract tourists to fading farmlands? In Crop Circles, your task is to create the most attractive designs and earn the highest score.

Every crop circle contains seven fields. As numbers fill those spaces, each circle can be scored in different ways. Look for opportunities to arrange numbers into stairs, use different numbers, gather matching numbers, or connect neighboring numbers.

• Roll two dice on your turn.
• Place both numbers in fields on your chosen crop circles.
• Build combinations using stairs, different numbers, matching numbers, or neighboring numbers.
• Score your eight different crop circles and make use of available bonuses.

Every placement contributes to the larger puzzle of how your crop circles will score. The available scoring possibilities encourage you to consider the numbers you roll, the spaces you choose, and the combinations you are developing across your sheet.

At the end of the game, players score their eight crop circles along with the bonuses they can take advantage of. Whoever has the biggest total wins. Whether you are preparing the perfect tourist attraction or answering a more mysterious call from above, Crop Circles offers a compact number-placement challenge for a wide range of player counts.
