Vampire Village

About this board game

Vampire Village is a village-defense game for 1–5 players that plays in about 20 minutes. In a hostile region, each player leads a fortified village threatened by ferocious monsters that emerge when night falls.

The game unfolds over two rounds, each divided into distinct day and night phases. During the day, players select cards to build their villages, weigh building combinations, consider positioning, and recruit powerful heroes to protect their villagers.

When night arrives, Creature cards enter the game. Players split these creatures between themselves and their neighbors, deciding which threats to keep and which to direct toward nearby villages. A strong defense may be able to handle the creatures it receives, while a weaker neighbor can become an appealing target.

• Build by day: Choose village cards, arrange buildings, and recruit heroes.
• Redirect danger by night: Divide Creature cards between your village and your neighbors.
• Survive the attack: Creatures destroy the most exposed buildings and villagers.

Every choice affects how exposed your village will be when the creatures attack. Protect your population, manage the threats your defenses can handle, and look for opportunities to pressure neighboring villages.

At the end of the game, the player with the most surviving villagers and mastered tamed creatures is declared the winner. With its compact play time and card-driven village building, Vampire Village presents a tense struggle to defend your own settlement while turning the dangers of the night elsewhere.
