About this board game

Encore X ! is a standalone roll-and-write game for 1–6 players, played in about 30 minutes. Released in 2026 to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Encore! series, it keeps the familiar dice-selection gameplay while introducing a new primary victory condition.

Each player begins with 10 physical chips. Instead of focusing solely on completing a sheet, players race to discard every chip. The first player to discard their final chip wins immediately.

On each turn, players select combinations of color and number dice, then use them to mark contiguous blocks of colored boxes on their personal sheet. Placement follows the standard rules of the series, creating the recognizable Encore! puzzle while giving every completed section greater importance.

• Complete specific columns to discard chips.
• Complete rows to discard chips.
• Finish designated scoring sectors for additional chip-discarding progress.
• Use the new Pass Track when you cannot or choose not to use the rolled dice results.

The Pass Track provides alternative actions or progress, adding another way to keep moving toward the central objective. Every roll presents a choice between using the available dice and advancing through this new track.

With its combination of dice drafting, colored-block placement, and a direct race to eliminate all 10 chips, Encore X ! offers a fresh standalone take on the series. Complete the right rows, columns, and sectors before your opponents do, and be ready to claim victory as soon as your last chip is discarded.
