About this board game

Green Deal is a strategy board game for 3–5 players that takes about 90 minutes, placing you in charge of an international corporation in 2050. Your goal is to increase profits and plan finances while responding to resource scarcity, social unrest, government requirements, and increasingly demanding customers.

Profitability is only part of the challenge. Your corporation must pursue clean production and comply with social standards, while public perception becomes an important part of your strategy. Launch PR campaigns to demonstrate your achievements and secretly choose the area in which you want to improve your image.

Each round, players invest in project and action cards. Around thirty different action cards provide special abilities, giving you opportunities to shape your plans and react to the competition. Before every round, all players bid simultaneously to determine the turn order, adding a financial decision to the race for advantageous timing.

  • Develop projects across four categories.
  • Cooperate with adjacent projects belonging to other players on the world map.
  • Harm opponents financially through interactions on the map.
  • Compete for the best reputation in each project category.

Balanced development matters: you receive extra points for your weakest project category, encouraging you to avoid neglecting any area. Players with the best reputation in each category also earn additional victory points, so responsible growth and effective communication can be as valuable as immediate profit.

Read your competitors, anticipate their moves, and decide when to invest, bid, cooperate, or interfere. In Green Deal, a winning strategy must bring together financial planning, project development, reputation management, and careful competition.
