Paella Park

About this board game

Paella Park is a theme-park visit game for 2–5 players that plays in about 60 minutes. Across four rounds representing eight hours before the closing fireworks, players explore Valencia’s most famous amusement park and compete for the highest score.

Rather than managing the park, you are there to enjoy it. Map out an efficient route, avoid the crowds, catch shows, ride attractions, and look for a chance to take a photo with the elusive Zombie Queen. You can also visit guest services, go shopping, or take a picture with the park’s mascot.

Every turn begins by identifying the active player through the Waiting Area, so play does not proceed simply clockwise or counter-clockwise. Each player takes exactly one action per turn, and every action consumes time, making your choices and route important throughout the day.

The park offers plenty of distractions, from a paella-shaped Ferris wheel to zombies and the elusive Zombie Queen. Deciding where to go, when to take a risk, and how to use your limited time is central to the experience.
