About this board game

Black Hole Rainbows is a board game for 2–6 players that plays in about 40 minutes. Its central theme is simple and unforgettable: destroy the Universe to save it.

Each player has a personal Black Hole in front of them. Collect Light Stones representing every color of the rainbow and fill your Black Hole with the complete spectrum of quantum energy. Once it is full, the Black Hole detonates, sending those Stones into Outer Space, the shared area between players.

A successful detonation earns you a Supernova Coin. Your Black Hole then resets as you move on to a new part of the Galaxy, ready for you to begin gathering a new rainbow. The race for coins gives every completed spectrum the potential to become a dramatic turning point.

• Build a full rainbow of colored Light Stones.
• Detonate your Black Hole and launch Stones into Outer Space.
• Earn Supernova Coins through Black Hole detonations and other effects.
• Use the Supernova Roller and electrifying cards to change the course of play.

Black Hole Rainbows blends chance and strategy to create moments of triumph and defeat, kindness and sabotage. The interactions and outcomes can feel different with every group, making each session its own cosmic chain reaction.

When the game ends, the player with the most Supernova Coins wins. Whether you focus on completing your own rainbow or respond to the opportunities created in Outer Space, Black Hole Rainbows turns colorful energy into a race to remake the Universe.
