About this board game
Qwingo, also known as Top 12, is a number-placement race for 2–5 players that takes about 15 minutes to play. Each player aims to be the first to complete all 12 boxes in any one of the five columns on their player sheet.
During play, one player calls out a number from 1 to 100. The symbol die is then rolled to determine which column that number must be placed in, creating a simple but important placement challenge.
Choose each position carefully. To win, one of your columns must contain numbers in ascending order from top to bottom. A number that fits one part of a column may make later placements more difficult, so every call and roll can affect your path toward completing a column.
- For 2–5 players
- Approximately 15 minutes of play time
- Five columns on each player sheet
- Twelve boxes to complete in a winning column
- Numbers from 1 to 100 and a symbol die
Qwingo combines called numbers, die-determined columns, and ascending-order placement into a compact race. The first player to complete the 12 boxes in a single column wins, provided the numbers follow the required order from top to bottom.
The instructions also include solitaire rules, allowing Qwingo to be played by one player. Released in 2015, it offers a focused number-placement experience built around filling a column correctly before anyone else.
