About this board game

Yami is an open-world cooperative trick-taking and polyomino game for 2–4 players, with games lasting approximately 30 minutes. Enter the Kingdom of Kakapo, where the creeping vines of the mysterious Lyken have spread across the land and shrouded it in a heavy mist.

The mist severs communication, but it also reveals long-forgotten forest spirits. As brave adventurers, players must use their help to purify the realm and push back the darkness. Careful planning and strong cooperation are essential as you work together to advance through the kingdom.

Yami features 22 independent missions, each presenting a unique challenge and setup. In every mission, players aim to surround Mission tiles with Spirit tiles by playing a series of tricks. Each map brings its own rewards—sometimes hidden—as well as specific placement constraints that shape the way the team must approach the challenge.
