About this board game
Orc-lympics is a 2018 board game for 2–5 players that plays in about 20 minutes. Players draft teams of orcs, elves, halflings, and other fantasy Olympians before sending them into a series of seven events.
Every Olympian has their own strengths and weaknesses, so building a team is an important part of the competition. You must decide which members of your team are best suited to each event and place them where their abilities can make the greatest impact.
The events offer a wonderfully unusual take on fantasy athletics. The competition may involve poison brewing, stubborn donkey pushing, or even table flipping, with each event testing the appropriate skill in a different way.
- Draft a team of orcs, elves, halflings, and other fantasy Olympians.
- Enter your Olympians into seven different events.
- Compete for medals by achieving the highest or second-highest total in the relevant skill.
- Win by claiming the most valuable collection of medals.
To claim a medal, your Olympians must produce either the highest or second-highest total in the skill that matters for the event. Strong results can earn rewards, but choosing how to use a team with different capabilities is central to the challenge.
With its mix of drafting, skill-based competition, and eccentric fantasy events, Orc-lympics turns an Olympic-style contest into a compact struggle for medals. Across seven events, players compete to assemble the collection worth the most and finish as the champion.
