Oneironauts

About this board game

Oneironauts is a cooperative dream-ocean game for 2–6 players, with sessions lasting around 30 minutes. Players work together as one team, diving into a sequence of word prompts and dream-card choices.

At the start of each round, reveal the top word card and place it face up. Every player then chooses the dream card from their hand that best matches the displayed word. These selected cards are shuffled together with one random card before the complete group is revealed.

• Reveal a word card.
• Choose the dream card that matches it best.
• Shuffle the chosen cards with a random card.
• Guess which card was accidentally added.

Once the cards are revealed, all players simultaneously try to identify the random card. Each correct answer earns the team 1 sheep, turning every round into a shared test of interpretation and recognition.

The team’s goal in Oneironauts is to collect at least 15 sheep before running out of elixir. Reach that target in time and the players win; exhaust the elixir first and the team loses. With its shared objective and dream-inspired card choices, the game centers every round on finding the best match and making the right collective guess.
