About this board game

Cyberpunk 2077: The Board Game is a fast-paced cooperative tactical card game for 1–4 players, with sessions lasting about 90 minutes. Set in Welcome to Night City, it places players in a metropolis where the local and global, past and future, merge together.

Each player controls an Edgerunner with a personal deck of Action cards and unique features. Guided by the App and the Locations Map, the group decides which Mission to take and works together to complete its Main Objectives.

The heart of the game is a series of Sequential Timed Action Phase segments, managed by the App. When the signal sounds, players examine their hands, choose an Active Player, and take turns one after another. They must act before the available time runs out, fighting, hacking, and hustling their way through the mission.

During each Cooldown Phase, players discard the cards in their hands, check loot, update the game state, gear up, and discuss their next strategy. Unlike the timed action segments, these preparations can take as long as the group needs.

Everyone wins together by completing all Main Objectives for the Mission. The group loses if it fails to complete any objective in time, while completing an objective immediately rewards the Active Player with the benefit shown on the Mission card.

With its blend of timed decisions, character-focused decks, and cooperative mission planning, Cyberpunk 2077: The Board Game brings a brisk tactical challenge to the streets of Night City.
