About this board game
Death Wears White is a murder mystery game for exactly 9 players, designed for an approximately 300-minute investigation. Released in 2001, it places the group inside Detroit’s Brighton Hospital after a well-known doctor is found dead.
The staff and visitors present at the time of the murder gather to determine what happened. Each participant receives a role, and the investigation begins: examine uncertain motives, weigh suspicious stories, and look for the person responsible before the assassin can escape.
One player organizes the evening while the others take on the available characters. The mystery is built for active participation rather than simply watching from the sidelines, with character information, clues, and evidence supporting the unfolding investigation. There is also the possibility that you are the killer.
- One booklet for the organizer
- One booklet for the players
- 9 character booklets
- 2 game aid sheets
- One clue booklet
- 25 full-color clues to hand out

With its dark affair, twisted plot, uncertain motives, and bulletproof alibis, Death Wears White provides the materials for a full evening of social deduction and murder investigation. All that is missing from the box is the group of guests ready to take their roles.
