About this board game
Gold Digger is a gold-hunting board game for 2–5 players that plays in about 20 minutes. Players take on the roles of anxious prospectors, competing to find fortunes by choosing claims that may yield a cornucopia of riches.
Every claim offers the promise of reward, but not every discovery is genuine. Alongside the chance to find valuable gold, prospectors must beware of fool’s gold. The search calls for careful choices and a sharp eye as players attempt to outwit one another.
The central challenge is simple to understand: select the claims that seem most likely to deliver riches, while avoiding the disappointment of false treasure. With several prospectors competing in the same gold rush, each decision contributes to the contest for fortune.

Gold Digger is the 2002 edition published by Out of the Box Publishing of the game originally released as Goldrausch. A revised second edition followed in 2006, giving the title a continued place in the story of this compact gold-prospecting game.
Whether you are drawn by the promise of a rich claim or the challenge of deceiving and outmaneuvering your rivals, Gold Digger centers the experience on competition, risk, and the search for a fortune. The game was later reimplemented by Wapi.
