About this board game

Sheep in Disguise is a strategic card game for 2–6 players that plays in about 45 minutes, challenging you to protect vulnerable Sheep from outrageous predators and rival players.

Draw cards to collect matching sets of disguised Sheep and powerful Action cards. Whenever you collect three Sheep of a kind, you must immediately place them face up as a Flock. In a four-player game, the first player to collect four unique Flocks wins.

Each turn gives you room to shape your strategy. Play as many Action cards as you like by sending them to the Discard, and make one trade with the Field, the changing group of cards in the center of the table. Trading helps you improve your hand, reduce the impact of luck, and create effective combinations.

  • Collect matching Sheep to build valuable Flocks.
  • Use Action cards to disrupt opponents and advance your own plans.
  • Trade with the Field to pursue stronger hands and combo moves.
  • Expose rival Flocks and leave them vulnerable to destruction.

An opponent can target one of your Flocks by placing an Expose card on it. You must decide whether to leave the Flock vulnerable or pay to remove the card and keep its identity secret. When an Attack card is drawn, every exposed Flock is destroyed.

Timing and risk management are essential in Sheep in Disguise. A well-played Attack can become a powerful way to surge ahead, while a careless move may make you the next target. Even players who fall behind can turn the game around with one decisive play, keeping the contest tense until the end.
