About this board game

Roll Estate is a roll-and-write game for 1–5 players that takes about 40 minutes, challenging you to become the richest entrepreneur by turning five dice into cash.

On each turn, roll the dice up to three times, keeping the results you want between rolls. Then use your final combination to claim an Asset, with each type requiring a different dice pattern. Rental Properties are spread across eight neighborhoods, each containing two or three properties to claim.

To acquire Rental Properties, enter the sums of qualifying dice from left to right, with every value increasing across the row. Completing a row before your rivals lets you open a Business and earn a major bonus, while every other player immediately crosses out that opportunity. Most rows offer two Businesses with decreasing values, but some provide only one, creating a race to secure them before they disappear.

• Claim increasing Rental Property values across eight neighborhoods.
• Open Businesses for valuable bonuses and deny them to opponents.
• Use sequences of four to claim exclusive Mass Transit shares.
• Place a roll’s sum into Liquid Assets and multiply it with Stock Indexes.

Mass Transit shares can only be claimed by one player each, and larger sets provide bigger payouts. You can also build Liquid Assets with the sum of a roll, then multiply that value by claiming Stock Indexes with a sequence of five. Risky investments and the chance to win the lottery add further opportunities to pursue wealth.

Opening your third Business signals the end of the game. In Roll Estate, every roll presents a choice between steadily expanding your property portfolio and chasing combinations that could deliver a much bigger return.
