The Game of Life: Super Mario Edition

About this board game

The Game of Life: Super Mario Edition is a Super Mario-themed family board game for 2–4 players, with play time of up to 120 minutes. Players journey through the Mushroom Kingdom and race toward a final battle against Bowser.

Choose to play as Mario, Luigi, Peach, or Yoshi, then move around the board’s looping paths. Along the way, collect coins, power up with Items and Companions, and take part in playful minigames that can offer prizes.

• Rock Paper Scissors
• Thumb Wars
• Spin-Offs

Coins are important as you approach Bowser’s Castle. Use them to buy stars, with each star adding 1 point to your battle-spin total. Building your star collection gives you a stronger chance in the climactic showdown.

Unlike the classic Game of Life, this edition is not focused on money or retirement. Its goal is to reach Bowser’s Castle and spin higher than 12 to defeat Bowser and win the game.

Released in 2021, The Game of Life: Super Mario Edition combines familiar Game of Life-style movement with Super Mario-inspired characters, artwork, and gameplay. With character choice, item and Companion power-ups, collectible coins and stars, and face-to-face minigames, it offers an indoor game-night experience for kids ages 8 and up.
