About this board game

No Time For Heroes is a competitive fantasy battle game for 1–4 players, with games lasting about 45 minutes. Each player takes the role of a hero fighting alongside a group of warriors against hordes of orcs, including a powerful final orc.

The heroes share a common goal: destroying the enemies threatening them. However, victory is personal too. Players compete to earn the most Victory Points, and may even take actions that make life more difficult for their fellow fighters. Cooperation is therefore only part of the challenge, as every hero is also seeking glory on the battlefield.

Each hero has a personal deck of cards containing unique abilities. These cards are used while facing the orcs and help determine how each hero contributes to the fight. Defeated orcs award different amounts of Victory Points, giving players reasons to weigh their choices carefully as the battle progresses.

Your hero’s deck can be exhausted through fatigue or injuries. Once the deck is exhausted, the hero loses 1 life point, making endurance an important part of the battle. The game continues until the conflict is resolved, with players trying to stay effective while collecting valuable points.

In No Time For Heroes, surviving the orc assault is only one measure of success. At the end of the game, the player with the most Victory Points is the winner.
