About this board game

Perfumery is a 2020 strategy game for 2–4 players, with plays lasting about 60 minutes. Players develop perfumes by combining natural and artificial scents, then use their creations to build the highest-end fragrance brand.

At the heart of the game is a distinctive Winchester draft. One player gains cards for themselves, while the same draft also provides cards for the other players, creating shared opportunities and meaningful choices around every selection.

Players use Perfumer Pieces to perform actions and expand the three layers of a fragrance: Top, Middle, and Base notes. These developing notes give players the foundation they need to fulfill the recipes shown on the Perfume Cards in their hands.

With its blend of drafting, worker placement, and tableau combo-building, Perfumery offers a heavier experience aimed at older players. These interlocking systems make each decision part of a larger plan as players shape their scent profiles, complete recipes, and grow their parfumier businesses.
