About this board game

To the Strongest! is a miniatures wargame for 2–10 players, with games lasting around 120 minutes. First released in 2014, it lets players refight battles spanning the biblical era, Classical Greece, Macedonian dominance of the Eastern Mediterranean, the Roman Empire, and the late medieval period.

The rules are designed to support a wide range of battles, from solo games with around 100 miniatures to huge engagements featuring more than 3,000 miniatures and up to five players per side. A square grid keeps play moving quickly and allows figures based on different frontages, including those made for other rule systems, to fight together on the same battlefield.

There are no dice in To the Strongest! Instead, playing cards provide an innovative and entertaining way to activate units. Each unit may potentially move or fight multiple times during a single turn, creating opportunities for bold commands and decisive momentum.
