About this board game
Drôles de Zèbres is a luck-free area-majority game for exactly two players, with a playing time of about 23 minutes. Each player takes the role of a ranger competing to create the most appealing wild animal reserve in the national park of Boku Bikini.
The park’s director, Impala Jones, has an unusual plan for attracting tourists. While visitors might normally choose destinations such as Kenya, Boku Bikini offers something distinctive: zebras that are black with white stripes. Players must help bring these strange zebras to the forefront of their reserves while competing for attention across the park.
The natural park is divided into six sectors. Impala Jones determines the rough areas that must be populated, and the two rangers settle those sectors with a selection of wild animals. The contest revolves around area majority: success depends on establishing the stronger presence in the park’s different sectors.
