About this board game

Dungeon Rummy is a card game for 1–4 players, played in about 60 minutes, in which reckless heroes battle monsters and seek the ultimate reward: bragging rights at the local pub.

Set in the Misfits Universe, the game puts four not-so-great heroes against foes that are not especially fearsome—but still dangerous. Each player has a personal deck of 26 cards, modeled on a traditional deck with a few distinctive twists.

Instead of Clubs, Hearts, Diamonds, and Spades, the cards use four hero-focused suits: Tank, Damage Dealer, Support, and Healer. Some cards also display Mana symbols, which let playable characters perform their special actions.

The monster phase happens first, because these heroes are not particularly capable. Monsters inflict damage on the heroes, leaving players to create combinations of cards to fight back, deal damage, and generate Mana.

  • Build combinations from a personal 26-card deck.
  • Use four themed suits representing different hero roles.
  • Generate Mana to enable special actions.
  • Remember that cards of the same suit can never be placed side by side.

Dungeon Rummy balances familiar card-game foundations with its own unusual restrictions and fantasy-themed roles. Every turn brings the pressure of responding to monster damage while assembling effective combinations.

If a hero is knocked out, the game ends in defeat. If the heroes manage to overcome the boss, they win—making every card combination part of a desperate, often imperfect push toward victory.
