Kartel is a board game for 2–6 players with a 15-minute play time, in which players track cartel members and try to stop them while putting their boss behind bars.
The days of the cartel are almost over, because everyone is now tracking its members. In Kartel, stopping cartel members can earn points, but there is an important condition: their boss must be behind bars.
Players take turns moving the detective. Movement is determined by throwing the die, giving each turn a clear action and keeping the investigation moving around the game.
After each roll, the pressure increases. This rising pressure is central to the experience, as players continue tracking the cartel while working toward the condition required to earn points.
Kartel focuses on a straightforward combination of die-based movement, detective work, and point scoring. Every roll advances the investigation and adds to the pressure surrounding the cartel’s members.
With its 15-minute play time, Kartel offers a compact game centered on one clear objective: stop the cartel’s members and make sure the boss is behind bars. Released in 2018, it supports games for 2–6 players.
