About this board game

Zombie in My Pocket is a semi-cooperative zombie game for 1–8 players, with a play time of about 30 minutes. Search an evil temple for the secret and the item that can destroy the zombies rising from the dead.

As you explore, you can pick up weapons and other items to bash zombies along the way. Your choices may include a machete, golf club, chain saw, or even your former uncle’s grisly femur.

The game creates tension between helping the group and playing selfishly. You never know what your fellow zombie bashers are going to do, so cooperation and personal choices both matter as the search unfolds.

  • Search for the secret of the evil temple.
  • Collect items to fight the zombies.
  • Find the zombie totem.
  • Bury it in the backyard graveyard before midnight.

To save the world, the zombie totem must be found and buried in the backyard graveyard before midnight. Fail to complete the task in time, and you are zombie food.

The 2010 published version from Cambridge Games Factory supports 1–8 players. A separate one-player print-and-play version of Zombie in My Pocket is also available, giving the game another way to deliver its frantic undead search.
