About this board game

Osmosis is a cooperative card-association game for 2–8 players that plays in about 15 minutes. Released in 2025, it challenges everyone to think together while keeping their descriptions just indirect enough.

Talk almost freely about the combination of cards you think you are about to create together. You can explain your overall combination or discuss the connections between cards, making associations that might bring the group toward the same idea.

There is one important limit: you cannot say anything that would clearly point to one or more specific cards. This restriction turns every clue into a careful balance between being understandable and leaving room for interpretation.

• Cooperative play: work together toward a shared result.

• Careful communication: describe links without directly identifying specific cards.
• Revealed choices: discover whether the group was truly thinking in sync.

Once everyone has made their associations, reveal the choices. If most of the group is in sync, you win. The final result can also bring a surprise, as the connections you thought were obvious may not match what others had in mind.

With its short play time and accessible cooperative premise, Osmosis focuses on shared intuition, creative communication, and the entertaining gap between what you meant and what others understood.
