Legends of Novus is a fantasy adventure game for 1–5 players, ages 13 and up, with games lasting 60–90 minutes. Each player controls a heroic character travelling across the mythical world of Novus, seeking to help rid its lands of powerful creatures that terrorize them.

The game combines a physical character sheet with card-based equipment attached to it. A variety of initial characters and classes that heroes can advance to create a different gameplay experience from one session to the next, giving Legends of Novus strong replayability.

Novus offers a free-roam approach to exploration. Players can navigate the world without dice rolls determining how far they travel or where they go, creating a strong sense of control over their characters’ fate. The world story provides the setting for a journey shaped by the choices players make as they pursue their goals.

There are multiple ways to gain experience, allowing players to explore different character strengths and game strategies on their path to becoming a legend. This flexibility supports varied approaches while keeping the focus on developing a heroic character and discovering what the world of Novus has to offer.
