Dark Age Z is a strategic board game for 2 to 5 players, with an approximate playing time of 90 minutes. Set in a medieval world torn apart by war, it challenges players to fight for humanity’s survival while pursuing the most victory points.

For decades, kingdoms have battled for control of the ancient world. Then the sky roars, the earth breaks open, and an unearthly crevice unleashes countless zombies from the modern world. Their highly infectious nature and agility allow the invasion to spread rapidly, creating a threat unlike anything the kingdoms have faced before.

As one of the kings of the Dark Age, you must respond to the crisis alongside former enemies. The sudden invasion forces every kingdom to set aside its long-standing hatred and join the struggle against the monstrous creatures. Survival depends on confronting the zombie swarms before they become unstoppable.

Players strive to gain victory points by killing zombies that attack the Frontiers of the Kingdom Cities. These attacks place the kingdoms at the center of an escalating fight, where the survival of mankind and each player’s personal score are closely connected.

At the end of the game, the player with the highest total of victory points wins. Released in 2015, Dark Age Z combines a dramatic medieval setting with a sudden modern-world zombie threat, creating a strategic contest between rival kings united against annihilation.
