About this board game

Weapon Wars is a fast card game for 2 to 6 players, with games taking about 40 minutes. Battle your friends using iconic weapons from geek culture, and try to be the last player standing.

Each player begins by drawing five cards. The starting player chooses a weapon from their hand, places it, and attacks the player to their right. After attacking, that player draws a card, and the next player must respond.

To survive, the attacked player needs to place a weapon that is equal to or more powerful than the weapon used against them. Play continues around the table as players answer attacks with weapons from their hands.

If a player cannot place a weapon or a power card, they lose the round. The player who defeated them receives a heart token, turning every successful attack into progress toward victory.

In Weapon Wars, surviving is only part of the contest: players must also secure enough victories before their opponents do. The first player to collect three hearts wins the game, making each attack an important step toward the final result.

Released in 2019, Weapon Wars offers a straightforward battle system centered on hand management, escalating weapon strength, and direct attacks between players. Draw your cards, choose your response, and fight to claim the hearts that lead to victory.
