Pirates vs. Dinosaurs is a 90-minute adventure game for 2–6 players, pitting pirate captains and their crews against dinosaurs, rival explorers, and a sinking island.

Each player begins with only partial knowledge of where buried treasure lies on a forgotten Pacific island. Before setting out, pirates outfit themselves with a variety of crew, weapons, and gear, then choose which section of the island to explore. The beach offers a quicker search, while the jungle takes longer as players look for their parts of the map.

The expedition can be disrupted at any moment. Other players play dinosaur and other cards to create mayhem and carnage, while the island’s prehistoric survivors defend their home from the unwelcome outsiders. The pirates must also contend with their opponents, who are searching for the same treasure.

• Customize your expedition with crew, weapons, and gear.
• Choose between the faster beach and the slower jungle search.
• Draw treasure from a bag while risking the pirate ghost and island-sinking events.

Once the treasure is found, the danger is far from over. Players draw from the treasure bag, hoping to avoid the pirate ghost and island-sinking events, then must make it safely back to their ship. The farther they press their luck, the greater the potential reward—and the danger of losing everything.

In Pirates vs. Dinosaurs, the captain who escapes with the most loot becomes the pirate remembered by history.
