About this board game

Kleos is a lightly asymmetrical strategy game for 1–5 players, featuring strategic combat and area control in sessions of around 120 minutes.

The Olympian Gods have learned of a new city said to rival Troy and Athens. Zeus has declared a week-long contest to determine which god will become the patron of Kleos, and each player takes the role of one of five Greek gods: Ares, Artemis, Hermes, Athena, or Dionysus.

Each god brings a unique champion and divine deck to the contest. Use tactical card play to gain an advantage through powerful blessings and curses, while managing your actions carefully during the action phase. The game combines hex-based combat with card game elements, creating a dynamic battlefield where every decision can shape the struggle for control.

  • Choose from five Olympian gods, each with a unique champion and divine deck.
  • Summon minions for combat, area control, and tactical advantage.
  • Use minions as upgrades, mounts, or offerings to bolster their allies.
  • Recruit legendary heroes and monsters, including Medusa, Perseus, and Pegasus.
  • Compete across the Greek Isles, where positioning and organization are key to victory.

Command your forces across the board and decide when to fight, recruit, summon, or strengthen your allies. Careful positioning allows your minions to secure territory and support your champion, while divine powers can disrupt opposing plans.

With its lightly asymmetrical factions, tactical action management, and strategic hex-based combat, Kleos puts the gods in direct competition. Summon your champion, marshal your forces, and compete for glory in Zeus’s contest—because the gods do not play fair.
