Everything Ever

About this board game

Everything Ever is a knowledge-driven listing game for 2–10 players that plays in about 60 minutes. Draw on everything you have seen, heard, read, visited, and experienced as you compete to name answers in constantly changing categories.

At the start of play, two category cards are in play. On each turn, you must say one answer that fits the first category and another that fits the second, making sure that neither answer has already been said. Categories might include prompts such as “Every Dinosaur Movie” or “Every Brand of Soap.”

If one category leaves you blank, you can use one of the three category cards in your hand to cover it. Place the new category into play, then name something that fits it. If you still cannot provide an answer for a category, you must take that category’s pile as a penalty and flip a new category from the deck.

• Two active categories: Give a new answer for each category on your turn.
• Category cards: Replace a difficult category using one of the three cards in your hand.
• Overlapping answers: Name something that fits both categories to gain a special choice.
• Judge cards: Challenge and assess your friends’ questionable answers.

An answer that fits both active categories lets you either discard one penalty card or draw a new category card from the deck, then play a third category card to the table. Once someone is penalized, play returns to two categories.

When the deck runs out, the player with the fewest cards wins. Everything Ever rewards broad knowledge, quick thinking, and the ability to keep original answers coming under pressure.
