About this board game
Air Show is a board game for 2–5 players, with games lasting around 90 minutes, in which you build and manage a collection of historic aircraft.
Every aircraft represented is real: these planes are either part of collections and museums in different countries or available on the antiques market. Your goal is to keep them in perfect flying condition while creating an impressive aviation collection and museum for the public.
Compete against other collectors in fierce auctions, seeking valuable aircraft to add to your collection. Careful resource management is essential as you expand your base airport, improve your exhibitions, and prepare your planes for display.
- Acquire historic aircraft through competitive auctions.
- Develop your base airport with new buildings.
- Hire professional experts to improve your exhibitions.
- Perform air shows to earn prestige and money.
Air shows are central to your progress. By putting your aircraft on display and staging spectacular events, you can generate the prestige and money needed to continue developing your collection and facilities.
Throughout the game, you will balance acquisition, maintenance, airport development, exhibition quality, and public performances. The challenge is not simply to own aircraft, but to create and manage a collection capable of making aviation history come alive.
At the end of Air Show, victory goes to the player with the largest and best-managed collection, combined with the strongest air-show achievements. Build a museum, maintain its aircraft in flight status, and compete to become the ultimate Air Show winner.
