About this board game

Feralis: Obscure Land is a dark deck-construction card game for 2 players, with games lasting about 60 minutes. Players take the role of mysterious Aesyr gods and summon brutal armies to battle across the plane of Feralis.

Each player commands a deck of creatures, an Aesyr, and a collection of powerful Godlike Skills. The goal is simple but unforgiving: defeat the creatures in an opponent’s area or strike directly at their leader until the opposing god is killed. Feralis also includes rules for 2vs2 and solo play.

Creature cards feature two sides: Call and Awakening. Creatures must wait for their waiting cost before entering the battlefield, making timing a central part of every plan. When a creature on its Call side is defeated, it returns in Awakening form. You may also play a creature directly in Awakening, but doing so means giving up the chance to use its Call form.

  • Time: Carefully plan when to bring creatures into play and create powerful combinations.
  • Catalyst: Spend this limited resource to reduce time costs, including during an opponent’s turn to unlock creatures in the Incubator area.
  • Godlike Skills: Use potent events to support your creatures and turn the battle, then wait for them to recharge after use.

With creatures to recall and mutate, resources to manage, and armies constantly returning in altered forms, every decision can shift the balance of power. In Feralis: Obscure Land, glory may be uncertain, but survival demands precise timing and no mercy.
