About this board game
Archers of Nand is a 20-minute game for 1–2 players in which warriors and mountain archers work together to defend the Valley of Nand from invading orc hordes.
The valley is being overrun, and its local warriors are losing the hand-to-hand battle. From the heights of the mountains, however, the archers of Nand can strike at the enemy and decimate the orc troops. Your challenge is to combine the strengths of both forces before the orcs destroy everything.
Protection of the valley depends on choosing where to act. The regions of Nand form a small data table, and the game introduces the basics of computer databases through the idea of using SELECT to choose regions to attack. This theme connects the fantasy struggle to a simple database concept.
