Kapadokya

About this board game

Kapadokya is a competitive board game for exactly two players, with each game lasting about 30 minutes. Released in 2021, it brings players to the Cappadocia region of Turkey, where dozens of balloons rise each morning to admire the first rays of sunlight.

In this atmospheric card game, players take part in the beautiful spectacle by helping the balloons return safely to the ground. The goal is simple: land more balloons than your opponent and collect the points needed to win at the end of the game.

On each turn, a player places a card in the play area. The card represents a balloon at an indicated altitude, adding to the developing arrangement of balloons. As the play area changes, players work toward the required number of balloons for a landing.

• Designed for 2 players
• Approximately 30 minutes per game
• Place balloon cards at their indicated altitudes
• Land balloons by achieving the indicated number
• Earn points for landed balloons

Whenever a player reaches the indicated number of balloons, those balloons can land and provide points. Every successful landing brings a player closer to victory, making the number of balloons you manage to land central to the final result.

With its clear objective and evocative setting, Kapadokya turns the morning balloon flights of Turkey into a focused contest for two. Place your cards, help the balloons descend, and aim to finish with the highest score.
