Yotei is a strategic town-building board game for 2–4 players, with sessions lasting around 60 minutes. Set in Niseko, Hokkaido, it challenges you to create the most charming town at the foot of Mt. Yotei, also known as Ezo Fuji.

Expand your land and develop your town with limited manpower, while using potatoes as your currency. Bid with them to secure opportunities, and unearth more potatoes when your supply runs short. With multiple paths to victory, the player who best maximizes their town’s charm and collects the most Charm Points wins.

As you build, Yotei brings the scenery, people, wildlife, and local culture of northern Japan to the table. Your growing town may welcome savory ramen, wagyu, sushi, wild trout, Ezo-bears, and red foxes, alongside developments ranging from snowy ski resorts to peaceful hot-spring villages.

Although its illustrations have an adorable kawaii style, Yotei offers a strategic and competitive experience with plenty of tension and replayability. The wooden tokens use Hokkaido-sourced wood, while the artwork by a Japanese illustrator is inspired by real people, landscapes, and events from the local community.
