About this board game
La Cour de Versailles is a historical drafting and collecting game for 1–5 players, with sessions lasting around 30 minutes. Set during the era of Louis XIV, it invites you to pursue fame among the nobles and influential figures of Versailles.
You are a young nobleman or noblewoman who has just arrived at the royal court. Your goal is to join the King’s Court and achieve the greatest renown by expanding your circle of friends to include increasingly high-ranking individuals.
Each round, choose a Character card from your hand to add to your select circle of friends. Then pass every other card to the neighbor on your left, creating a continuing flow of choices around the table.
