Temporal Odyssey

About this board game

Temporal Odyssey is a drafting battle card game for 2–4 players, with games lasting about 45 minutes, in which time travelers duel across the timeline.

Draft cards from the Past, Present, and future decks, then enlist legendary heroes and creatures to fight by your side. Each time period has its own theme and mechanics, while each class offers specific uses and value depending on the situation and your Traveler’s needs.

• Group characters to share their abilities, using those powers offensively or defensively.
• Collect elemental power from drafted cards to level up your Traveler’s spells.
• Regroup often to adapt as the battle changes.
• Rewind time to prevent your own death, while suffering Lovox the god of time’s judgement each time.

Every Traveler uses the elements differently, affecting how you prioritize drafting and banning. Power plays from upgraded spells can shift the pace of a fight dramatically, while securing artifacts, banishing enemy characters, and defeating rival Travelers destabilize your opponent’s timeline.

That instability comes with a cost and a benefit: once your opponent loses stability, they gain more power, but their timeline moves closer to collapse. The game ends when you defeat the enemy Traveler after they have 3 or more instability cards, delivering the final blow that banishes them from the timeline.

Released in 2018, Temporal Odyssey combines card drafting, character abilities, elemental spell progression, and time manipulation in a duel between rival Travelers.
