About this board game
Nobody is Perfect: 20th Anniversary Edition is a party game for 3–10 players that takes about 60 minutes to play. Players invent meanings for unfamiliar words, judge competing answers, and race along the gameboard to reach the finish first.
Each round presents a word whose meaning is unknown to most players. Everyone writes down what they think the word could mean. One player collects and shuffles the responses before reading them aloud, creating a selection of possible answers that includes the real meaning and the players’ inventions.
Players then vote for the answer they believe is correct. The player who identifies the true meaning earns points, while anyone whose convincing description persuades others to vote for it can also score. This makes believable bluffing just as important as knowing the answer.
The game also includes cards with pictures. Players guess what each picture shows, adding a visual challenge to the word-based rounds. Points move players along the board, and the first player to reach the end wins.
- Players: 3–10
- Play time: approximately 60 minutes
- Core play: invent answers, read them aloud, vote, and score
- Additional challenge: cards featuring pictures to identify
This Limited Anniversary Edition adds 20 voting tokens, 10 voting cards, and 10 bonus tokens. With its mix of guessing, voting, and persuasive false answers, Nobody is Perfect: 20th Anniversary Edition centers every round on deciding which response is genuine—and which one is simply convincing.
