About this board game
Collapsible D: The Final Minutes of the Titanic is a 30-minute board game for 3–6 players, set aboard the Titanic during the night of April 14, 1912.
The game begins at 11:40 p.m., when the ship collides with an iceberg. Each turn represents ten minutes in real time, challenging players to move through the ship as water floods in and the danger of drowning rises.
Each player controls a passenger of each Class and a member of the Crew. Every character starts from a different location, reflecting historical research into where people were aboard the Titanic. Using the game’s intuitive movement system, players guide their characters toward the lifeboats on the dock.
- Play as passengers from each Class and a Crew member.
- Move through the Titanic from historically researched starting points.
- Race against flooding water and the threat of drowning.
- Earn victory points for every passenger you save.
The focus is on the survivors of collapsible D, the last lifeboat lowered into the water. As the final minutes pass, deciding how to move through the ship becomes increasingly urgent, while every saved passenger contributes to your final score.
Inspired by the events of the Titanic’s maiden journey and created by Italian author Gianluca Santopietro, Collapsible D combines historical setting, time pressure, movement, and competitive scoring. When the rescue effort ends, the player with the highest score wins.
