About this board game

Bloody 110 is a high-complexity, two-player tactical wargame with an approximate playing time of 360 minutes, covering the Battle for Clervaux on December 16–17, 1944.

As the first game in The Gamers’ Tactical Combat Series, it depicts the vital two-day delay of the German 2nd Panzer Division by elements of the US 28th Infantry Division. The battle takes place along the road to Bastogne during the opening days of the Ardennes offensive.

The American forces represented in Bloody 110 were small in number, but their defense had major consequences. By holding the German advance, they provided time for other units—including the 101st Airborne—to reach Bastogne and help defend it. Without this successful defense, Bastogne would have been left exposed and the road to the Meuse would have been clear.
