Elementum

About this board game

Elementum is a card game for 1–4 players that takes around 30 minutes to play. Set in the fantastic world of Tellus, it challenges sorcerers to gather magical Elementum particles and become the greatest elementalist.

Powerful tremors have uncovered the ruins of an ancient structure filled with magical power. This energy rises from four Elemental Sources, and mages draw upon Earth, Fire, Air, and Water by casting elemental spells.

• Draft cards from the available card pool.
• Place each chosen card in the corresponding column beside the common Elemental Source.
• Use instant effects immediately when they appear.
• Enhance cards with Power Crystals or interact with the common card pool.

Most cards do not resolve their effects right away. Instead, their abilities matter during the final scoring, when each player examines the cards in their set and calculates the Elementum particles they have gathered.

Once all spell cards have been placed, the game ends and scoring begins. The player with the most Elementum particles, which function as victory points, wins and uncovers nature’s ultimate secrets.

With its draft-and-place card play, shared elemental sources, and opportunities to use Power Crystals, Elementum presents a compact magical contest for aspiring mages. Players must shape their sets around the four elemental aspects before the final reckoning determines who has claimed the most power.
