About this board game
The Red Dragon Inn: Gambling? I’m In! is a gambling game for 2–10 players with rounds that can take about 5 minutes. It brings the tavern games of The Red Dragon Inn to the table as playable card-and-dice contests.
Play it as a standalone game, add it to The Red Dragon Inn series, or use it as part of an RPG or LARP. When a player uses the “Gambling? I’m In!” card in The Red Dragon Inn, they can choose one of these games instead of the normal gambling rules, with special combination rules provided for each variation.
The game includes a Rogues and Warriors Deck, six-sided dice, coin tokens, and debt and loan tokens. The deck features three colors, six symbols, and character cards representing Knights, Ladies, Bards, Merchants, and Rogues. Some games use the deck alone, some rely on dice, and others combine cards and dice.
- Rogues and Warriors: Compare two-card hands and use the symbols to determine their strength.
- Threes: A dice-only game.
- Jack of All Trades: Use five dice and Rogue and Warrior cards to complete jobs.
- Den of Thieves: Use character abilities to influence hand values and scoring.
- The Wheel and The Clock: Guess which cards other players are collecting to score points.
With rules for at least seven games and room for player-created variations, The Red Dragon Inn: Gambling? I’m In! offers flexible gambling diversions for adventurers, roleplayers, and tavern regulars.
