About this board game
Experiment is a 30-minute laboratory game for 3–6 players, released in 2006, in which you mix colored fluids to fulfill tasks assigned by your professor.
Each player works toward completing the right orders, the tasks at the heart of the experiment. To accomplish them, you must get hold of the colored fluids needed for the required mixtures.
Play continues for 12 rounds. During the game, the focus remains on obtaining the right fluids, mixing them, and using the resulting mixtures to fulfill the professor’s assigned orders.
- Get hold of the colored fluids you need.
- Mix the fluids together.
- Use the mixtures to fulfill orders.
- Add the points awarded by your completed orders.
Orders are worth between 1 and 5 points, depending on the order. Completing more orders does not automatically determine the winner; after 12 rounds, the points from those orders are added together.
When the final totals are calculated, the player with the most points wins Experiment. With its laboratory setting, colored-fluid mixtures, professor-assigned tasks, and fixed 12-round structure, the game presents a focused race to complete orders and finish with the highest score.
