About this board game
Anthelion: Conclave of Power is a two-player influence-manipulation game with a play time of 20 minutes, set in the Pocket Universe after years of devastating war.
The conflict between the Dynasty and the Liberation cannot be decided by military victories alone. Each side now seeks the support of influential figures across the galaxy, hoping to consolidate power, recruit new allies, and even turn former foes to its cause.
On each turn, choose two unique special character abilities to manipulate the locations of the characters in play. Pull characters from the good, evil, and neutral factions toward your side of the table, or push unwanted figures toward your opponent.
- Players: 2
- Play time: 20 minutes
- Core objective: Amass 10 points of influence
- Key mechanism: Use character abilities to shift figures across the table
Characters contribute influence when they cross all the way to your side. The first player to amass ten points of influence through this careful positioning is declared the winner and gains control of the Universe.
Anthelion: Conclave of Power builds on the foundation of Avignon: A Clash of Popes, another two-player influence manipulation game. Released in 2019, it was included in the March 2019 Board Game of the Month Club $20+ package.
