1812!: War on the Great Lakes Frontier is a two-player card-driven strategic wargame with an approximately 540-minute play time, recreating naval and land actions fought around the Great Lakes of North America during the War of 1812.

One player commands the forces of the United States of America, while the other leads the British Empire. Players alternate playing Strategy cards, using their effects to spend Operation Points and trigger historical events throughout the conflict.

Operation Points are the game’s essential currency for military activity. Players use them to move forces and fight battles, directing both regimental-scale land units and individual ships across the Great Lakes frontier.
