Hospital Rush is a competitive game for 3–5 players that plays in about 60 minutes. Each player takes the role of an intern competing to earn the open doctor position at the hospital.

The goal is straightforward: be the first intern to reach ten prestige points. Achieving it requires careful choices each round, as you collect medicine, develop new skills, take exams, and treat patients while competing directly against the other interns.

Every round, players place two pawns on a range of available actions. Some actions are fair, while others are explicitly unfair, offering opportunities to push your progress through more devious play. However, those unfair choices may be punished later by the other players, creating an ongoing balance between ambition and risk.
