Nice Buns is a light strategy game for 2–6 players that takes about 30 minutes to play. Released in 2021, it places everyone at the “Nice Buns Buffet,” where players race to fill their plate with three sets of colorful bao buns.

Each round, players roll three dice. These dice let them collect, steal, and trade different buns, making every roll part of the race toward a complete plate. Players focus on gathering the colorful bao buns needed to form three sets.

There is an important twist before anyone uses the dice. The player on your left decides which dice you may use—and which dice they will keep for themselves. This unusual rule puts another player in charge of your available choices before your turn even begins.
