About this board game

Pocket Paragons: Origins is a two-player card game with 15-minute playtime, where rival paragons face off through simultaneous card choices and tactical reads.

Each player chooses a paragon and takes that character’s deck of 7 unique cards. Every turn, both players select a card from their hand and play it at the same time. Once the cards are revealed, the effects determine the course of the confrontation.

Depending on the interaction, characters may take damage, have their card canceled and returned to their hand, or be defeated. Success depends on playing the right card at the right moment while forming a strong read of your opponent’s intentions.

This box introduces six original characters from the world of Pocket Paragons:

With only two players and a short playing time, each turn in Pocket Paragons: Origins presents a focused decision. Choose from your available cards, anticipate the opposing choice, and adapt as cards are canceled, damage is dealt, or a character is defeated.

Released in 2022, this compact duel centers on timing, card knowledge, and reading the other player. Its six-character lineup gives the box a distinct cast of paragons, while the seven-card decks keep every choice closely tied to the unfolding contest.
