echoes: Die Titanic-Affäre is a cooperative audio mystery game for 1–4 players, with an approximate play time of 60 minutes. Set aboard the Titanic, it challenges you to solve the mystery of a young steward who worked on the ship under a false name.

Using the free app, your group listens to mysterious voices and noises linked to the game’s cards and boards. Each sound contains conversations and details that can help reveal the order of the story. Pay close attention, because the objects themselves can also provide important clues.

The case is divided into six chapters, represented by six game boards. Across the full investigation, you must arrange 24 story parts in the correct sequence. Each part is represented by an object, either a game board or a card, and each object has an associated echo that can be played by scanning it with the app.

• Work together to identify which three object cards belong to each chapter.
• Use the echoes to determine the correct order of those cards.
• Listen to completed chapters for additional hints and story details.

If your solution is incorrect, the app tells you which cards are wrong or placed incorrectly, helping you refine your deductions. When a chapter is solved, you can hear the entire chapter at once, revealing new information that may guide the next stage of the investigation.
